Recapping this weekend's Slingerlands, NY tournament
I'd always liked the idea of a Scrabble commune where we all played, ate and slept together - well, under one roof anyway - and continued to hoot an' holler after the day's games were done. So, I decided to give it a shot.

On democracy
The CoCo, like the United States, is a representative democracy. We elect board members every year, and those board members make decisions that guide the organization forward. And the CoCo, like the United States, is in the swing of election season as we speak.

Looking back at the first 20 in-person CoCo tournaments
Earlier this month, the CoCo reached a notable milestone - 20 tournaments played. Let's look back at all 20 of them - when and where they happened, who played, who won, and all the fun times our players have had along the way.

Seeking candidates for the third annual CoCo elections
Today, we are soliciting candidates for one Executive Director and up to three members for the Board of Directors. Come January, the new Board will lead the CoCo into the new year and potentially in exciting new directions.

Commemorating two years of CoCo Club
It's time to review another fun quarter of play at the CoCo Virtual Club on Woogles. Thirty-six players joined us throughout the summer quarter of 2022. Congratulations to the club champions!
Recapping the 2nd annual Portland-Alberta Beer Scrabble Thing (PABST)

Bring 16 Scrabblers and a whole lot of food together in a giant beach house, and you have a recipe for a truly wonderful tournament weekend.

Previewing the 4th annual Labor Day Oregon Coast Open (LOCO)
The best way to spend Labor Day weekend is to round up 16 of the best Scrabble players (and coolest humans) in North America, spend the weekend together in a beach house, cook meals, drink drinks, enjoy beautiful oceanside views, and, while you're at it, sneak in 20 intensely competitive games of Scrabble.

Recapping this weekend's Potomac, Maryland tournament
This was a more intimate tournament, held at a private residence and with only 7 players, but it was still a great time, and an awesome way to spend the weekend. Chinese food twice in a row and 12 games of Scrabble - who could ask for anything more?
