Recapping two Labor Day weekend tournaments
We had not one but two tournaments happening over Labor Day, one on each coast. Out West, Scrabblers converged on Portland, OR, for PDXwords, and in the East, there was a beach tournament on the coast of Delaware.
Recapping the eighth Portland Pub Scrabble tournament
Four players met up for a Sunday afternoon of Scrabble at Level Beer, in the Buckman/Kerns neighborhood of Portland. Spirited competition was in the air, and good times were had by all.

Remembering Steve Pellinen
We lost Steve on Tuesday morning, and it's a loss that hits particularly hard for all of us across the Scrabble world. Steve was a wonderful leader for our community and a wonderful all-around human.
