It is very rewarding to bring together a bunch of great people for the purpose of playing a challenging game that everyone already loves. (Well, no one loves drawing IIUU repeatedly, but in general, we play because we love the challenging nature of the game.)
Expenses: The Director covered the costs of provided meals, snacks, and other tournament expenses—which means that 100% of the entry fees went into the prize pool. In addition to the cash prize for 1st Place, the director covered the case of awarding free entry to the Word Cup Collins Division (Main Event) to the winner of this tournament.
