Everything you always wanted to know about the Word Cup (but were afraid to ask)
Here's an FAQ that covers a little bit of everything. This should help give you all a clearer picture of what to expect from this summer's championship event.

Announcing the 2022 Word Cup Collins division, presented by WGPO and the CoCo
Together, WGPO and the CoCo will be hosting a championship event this summer. The Word Cup will take place between July 9 and July 13 in Chicagoland, and it will feature a CoCo-sanctioned, WESPA-rated Collins division with big prize money - at least $10,000 for first place.

The event was a blast. Everyone got to enjoy the company of great friends, endless food and drink, and lots of lively after-hours games of Anagrams and Anomia and So Clover. Oh - and I suppose at some point, some Scrabble was played.

This weekend, Jennifer and I will head to Charlottesville, Virginia, to host a 2-day Scrabble tournament. It will be the third live CoCo tournament to take place in the post-COVID vaccination era, and the fourth event overall. I'm super excited for it - on a couple of different levels.
