The idea is simple and beautiful - one city, one year, 10 Scrabble tournaments at 10 different breweries and pubs all over town. And when the dust finally settles in December, your yearly Portland Pub Scrabble Champion will be crowned.

The new year is a great time to hatch new ideas and explore new opportunities - such as new Scrabble tournaments. And to see that happening, there's no better place to look than Portland, OR, where the local Scrabble community has set out to play a series of local events throughout the year. Yes, that's right - Portland Pub Scrabble is underway.

*Performance above seed: For tournament points — for your best 4 events, average placing above starting seed = up to 3 points maximum (0 minimum - no negative points). The BingBox Performance Prize is calculated as the person with the most points in the bottom half of rated players.
